Yes I have to say...some great effects that had me fooled! While it started bubbling up I was like "oh that's friggin sweet" (thinking it was the material in the cell phone like bubbling or something--unaware that it was CG)....and then when the face started to form I was like "OH SH--!"

I was pretty impressed by this one as well. I'd love to know what went into it. It looks like the phone was loaded up with some sort of reactive foam, or possibly that part was cg, but there's a frame where everything pops on and it looks like it switches to a puppet with an inflatable head of some sort covered in some poorly mixed 2 part epoxy. Either way it's an impressive video. Kudos to anyone who can find a making of or original source.

I tried hard as hell to find the source where this video came from. But i did not manage to find anything. It would be pretty cool to read about this work. I even went on youtube and the oldest video was posted 5 days ago. So i guess whoever posted it should be connected to source somehow. But there are over thousands of comments. Most of them are pointless rubbish talk. But i have feeling that amongst these comments lies some useful information about this video.
