Anyone going to Siggraph this year? I'm trying to but can only afford plane tickets, no hotel or anything. if anyone else is going or people that live in LA could lend a couch for a few nights? I've always wanted to go to the conference and housing is the only thing standing it my way right now.

well, if ya dont mind stayin on the cheap, its not part of the siggraph chain of motels or hotels, but when I went out to LA my first year and was on my own i stayed at the days inn by the union station. sure its like 10 miles away from the convention center but the union station will take you wherever you want to go for like 3 bucks. (if i remember right)
ann you fjorgers should room together. just have one big happy hippy smelly comune.

ok how about we all stay at that day's inn? haha do you know where it is specifically? i can't find anything on union station on the days inn site.

Allright, so I think my two fjorg teammates and I are going to split a hotel room tuesday to friday. However, we would still need a place to stay sunday night. If anyone has any room at all for three guys on 8/10, please pm me!
