Hello,
In 5 days i will go to England, Bristol. It is a perfect chance to buy some 3d related books. (there are no books in our country)
I want to buy 4 or 5 books in total. I know that one book will be Deconstructing the Elements by Pete Draper. Can anyone recommend me some more books. I want to buy a good animation book that covers character animation in great detail. I also want books about lighting and rendering.

DTE is a great book! loved it...
there also is cartoon animation by preston blair, pretty cool book.
i own all of theses and i am really glad i do! a goldmine.
if i'd be you, i'd get artbooks, like the one from nemo, or monsters inc or even ratatouille. they are great too... the one from lilo and stitch is quite cool.
but man, you should know all this,
search the forums! many people asked the question allready while many others awnsered it, and they all seem to say the same, and not just here...
i know you are going in 5 days so your mind is probably busy with other things... but still, buying a book is not just about buying it... it also includes all the days and nights you spent looking for them, checking what's in, learning and finding so many websites along the way. That is what i loove when i get a book... it makes the book much more special when i receive it... and i am proud of owning it... then i put it on my shelves, forget about it, and 16 month after, i take it out again. "man i never knew i had that book, should have read it before! it's such a cool one!"..
