I saw it this weekend and really enjoyed it. I have to say however,

that I agree with Tyson in saying that it was formulaic and trite in the deep storyline dept. It is almost inevitable though for this phase of "garbage" to pass through as software, artists, and studios become more and more capable of delivering photoreal and seamless CG. I just hope that it's only a phase, and that there is a power shift coming that will enable a new generation of stories with a voice that supercedes that of popcorn fun and simple summer blockbusters. Though they have their place, I couldn't help feeling cheated a bit during the climax and payoff of the Hulk. Shameless franchise marketing is something that bugs me in a movie. It is, in my opinion, a cheap trick that writers use in episodic television programs filled with tawdry affairs and dry plotlines, allowing the viewer to jump in and not engage at any time in the story, making them numb and bombarding them with product placement... Oh crap, i'm on my soapbox. Sorry guys...
