29 Jun 2008Yes!!! Subwolfer and I have been playing Diablo II again and of course are huge Blizzard fans. When we toured Blizzard they had rooms filled with empty desks to staff a new game. Man that would be fun to work on!

g3org3 355 posts29 Jun 2008Omg I have been waiting for this annoucement all week. When that first image appeared on the splash page I was really hoping it was Diablo 3. This summer I started playing Diablo 2 again just for fun. Even YEARS after it is still an amazing game.
The game play mechanics looks really fun. I also can't wait to see what all the character classes are going to be. I also hope we have the ability to customize our characters a bit. I do like the male female characters though. Makes it more fun.
We are going to have to wait for a long time for this game though. By looking at the job postings on blizzard, it looks like it still needs A LOT of work. Also StarCraft II is going to be released before Diablo III so we can assume Diablo III will be released about a year after StarCraft II. -

it awes me that blizzard is able to keep such good secrets for so long. they must make their employees sing one hell of an NDA.
but yeah, starcraft 2, wrath of the lich king and now diablo 3. blizzard is turning into the pixar of games haha. -

01 Jul 2008Does anyone here still play Warcraft III? Would be fun to get a DOTA game or something going. Anddd not to change the subject about how awesome Blizzard is, but does anyone here play Team Fortress 2? I know there is a hugeee thread going on over at CGTalk about it which said they play every Friday and Saturday night...has anyone checked that out? I've been obsessed with TF2 lately!
