Invitations to Closed Beta of New 3D Site

I’ve got some invitations to give away to the closed beta of Presto3D.com. The site is a marketplace and gallery for 3D models where you can actually see the models in 3D. You can register here: http://www.Presto3D.com with this referral code: presto0953. It’s valid for the first 50 users.
We’ve spent a lot of time to make it clean and simple place to show off and sell 3D artwork, and we’re just about ready to launch it to the public. I am looking for some artists to join our closed beta and upload their 3D artwork to our site before we launch so that we have a great site right from the beginning. Of course, there are certain *perks* to be had by being one of our first users (besides our undying gratitude

10 Aug 2008You're going to have to find a way to have customers comfortable with downloading and running an .exe , I for one ain't too comfortable with running an executable on a site i don't know. And without the 3d plugin, it does just seem like every other 3d model site out there.
Great design though, very simple, bright, clean and easy to use. Tis definately better designed than some of the other model sites out there, and seems more friendly. -
11 Aug 2008Yep...as soon as I saw the need to install an .exe, I left the site.
The rest of it looks fine though. Maybe see if you can get a shockwave or flash implementation of your plugin. Forcing users to install a 3rd party app is the worst possible option. -
11 Aug 2008very much agreed with the above comments, no one's gonna install a 3rd party app from a company they know nothing about.
