I hold fond memories of haunting that place. I met some good friends there. Sad news, but long over due.
I raise a bowl of pudding to Matt, wherever he may be.
I raise a pint to all the good friends here at SimplyCG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pudding all round....
Was going to post this last night when I went to check it out for the first time in months. A shame as it's one of the oldest 3D sites on the net, but I guess it had to be done... like a faithul old dog taken into a field for one last time.

Saw this the other day as well, kinda sad since I learned everything I ever knew about 3dsmax there.
And in my defence, team R.O.T.N was stacked, we didn't have a fighting chance.

Team R.O.T.N. will rise again!!!!
Amer: I have that image somewhere. Once I dig it up I'll post it. Never too late to drape some shame on Terry!

Yes I noticed this too, sad but this is life.
Just something funny is in the monthly newsletters, there wasn't anything about the forum. This could make a small pub for the forum each months. The cgtalk newsletters contain always best 2d/3d stills topics. Anyway.
I wish long life for Simplycg!!!

I will have to say that SimplyCG is definately the new and improved( I know it can't be new if it is improved and can't be improved if its new, its a paradox) the3dstudio. Although I wasn't there for too long most of the people i rememeber from there are now here.
Simply cg will have a long life simply because of everything about it such as moderation the plugging of topics the mini challenges and everything else.
Props to Tyson and Cam for making this hip happening place.

Well we wouldn't be here if it weren't for the support of our userbase!
I know it sounds cheesy but it's true! And 7000+ posts later we're still thriving and doing well
THANK YOU!
