Hi all, just a quick question - after rendering out a shot to .Tiff's or .Tga - or any image format for that matter, what do you guys use to compress them together without loosing the quality and keep the quaity of the renders? When ever i try to compress something from the images, even if the animatiion shot is only 4 seconds long, the file size is HUGE! as in 200MB!!
Any help on the this would be brillaint!

what resolution are you rendering it at ? ..remember you dont have to have production quality for internet sharing. so dont hesitate in keeping it at something small. as for the compression divx 6 as tyson sugested and H.264 for quicktime .. atleast thats what i use

I always render out at full PAL standard (720x576)..downsizing is easy later, but upsizing would mean re-rendering! so thats why i render out the maximum usage (in case i would need it in my folio DVD for example)
as for compression, DivX for avi's... i dont use quicktime, so...
