I had to laugh when I read this

I know that when somebody writes a tutorial on how to make something ( a car, a boat, a guitar ), you will see a flood of them in the galleries that are around.
Those of you who know me, know I didn't follow a tutorial for this.
Oh well, what are you going to do.

ptaverner 379 posts11 Mar 2006Hey Cameron. The tutorial is a Lightwave tutorial. I have to admit, the guys guitar looks fantastic once it's complete, textured, lit, etc.
I made mine with max a few years ago, and I do have to say that although the my render looks pretty good, the mesh is a bit of a mess. Well, the body is anyway.

p.s. I'm currently working on a spot where these robots are playing football in the city. Crashing itno buildings, etc. I'm going to use a very flat looking style. ( Don't tell Tyson ) -
11 Mar 2006LOL! Makes me laugh that the guy could say that about a real world object (especially something that is often the theme for some kind of 3D project - I tried doing my guitar once, then realised I wasn't really a modeller lol!)
Meh! He was right about the jerk part though...
