01 May 2006i just got back from my visit to Full Sail college in orlando florida, and i must say i was VERY impressed by their cg animation major that i'm going to go there starting march 2007 majoring in cg animation, getting a bachelor's degree in under 2 years taking classes 8 hours a day year-round for 21 months. i'm gonna start out learning traditional animation, something i've never done before. yay! also, they work with maya, should be quite a learning experience.

02 May 2006Hey man...cool to hear you're going there! Full Sail is a nice school and a lot of CG companies hire students all the time from right out of there (we even get the odd full sail reel sent in every now and again
) -

msampson 24 posts04 May 2006Its quite possible. I'm there a lot. They didn't have a bachelors program when I started at fullsail, but I am most likely going to go for the Bachelor Completion program after I'm done with my associates degree.
I was also looking at Animatino Mentor, but for several reasons I think I'll be doing the Fullsail Bachelors. I'll see if I can post some work up sometime this month.
