24 Oct 2006Maya animators, I've come across this super dooper awsome Mel Script made by the one and olny Jason Schleifer. Here is a video demonstrating what is does;

24 Oct 2006That tool is definately awesome! I think that every 3d program should have something like that built in. And maya kind of does with the whole animation ghosting thing, but not on the level thats that quick and intuitive. This one should get like a friggin peace prize or something.

24 Oct 2006Heheh well the one I'm referring to was written by Bobo (the well-known maxscript authority), and in fact....in his thread over at cgtalk about the script, even Jason Schliefer stops by to take a peek (you can find both their posts in that thread over at cgtalk by doing a search for "grease pencil" in the maxscript forum)

and nothing happens
anyone know how to reslove this? -
25 Oct 2006Make sure that all of the image files that come with it are put in yout icons folder.
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\maya\6.5*(versionNumber)\prefs\icons -

26 Oct 2006Ha ha - dont get me started on those - i bought some 'dry makers' the other week - a supermarket's own brand, and iyp, you've guessed it - ive got a permanent red dot right slap bang in the middle of my screen. Thank god im having a new screen next week! *shakes fist*
