I've been working in Maya for around 18 months now and just today I've learned a very handy technique with the graph editor.
As we all know [ALT + Right Click] zooms in and out in the editor, much like the viewport.
But I only found out today the you can do either horizontal zoom or vertical zoom by [SHIFT + ALT + R Click]
I saw a guy do it here in the studio and was like... "What the?... How?... TELL ME!!!" as it was something I used regularly in Max and for a whole 18 months have been wishing I could do it in Maya.
So for any Spline Monkeys that may well have missed this too... there you go.
Yeah, I saw Bobby Beck do this over at Animation Mentor and though 'what the?! How on Earth did he do that?!'
It resulted in me trying all sorts of combinations on my keyboard trying to figure it out, and after finding it out, and un-pausing the video I was watching Bobby said - If you hold down SHIFT + ALT + R Click you'll be able to zoom like this. Damn pause buttons!
