In Max there is a nice reset function that clears away all the cache, returns default settings and sorts out any memory issues. Is there a way to do this in Maya?
Basically I've been busy chugging away at MEL scripting, creating a few tools and such using Global Procedures. But the only way I know to flush out the active procedures is to restart the prog.

not quite sure if this is will reset the memory and what not but after a bit of googling i found this > "presets -> load preset -> default settings"
