Rendering Your Animation???

Adam Chase 72 posts09 Dec 2005Ok guys ive finished my frist walkcycle ever in Maya earlier today but now how the hell do i render it lol. Can u render quicktime files with maya cause its not in the settings if someone could give me some help that would be awsome. -
09 Dec 2005window>rendering editors>render settings>image file output [image format]
the common method that most people adopt is to render it out as targa and then put the frames together in premiere.
but u can render it to avi if u want it as a movie file. -

27 Jan 2006.iffs are great. Most apps will take .iffs, except for Photoshop but there is a plugin on Highend for that.

28 Jan 2006I frender ifff. for all my animations. The change and resave as later. That way I keep an iff. file for a backup and can change to whatever later in fcheck.
