Turn off your virus protection software.
You're welcome.

Virus protection software can be almost more hassle than it's worth! Kind of like anti malarial tablets "Yes, take these pills... it won't guarantee 100% protection and you may lose you hair, go blind and or mad."

That's overkill man, you'll slow your computer down to a crawl. You only need one...if that. I know some people who don't even have av software installed because they set up a firewall properly, don't use dodgy programs and visit dodgy sites and don't open attatchments using Outlook etc. etc.
Prevention is better than cure so the saying goes and I'd agree with that because I haven't had one virus in over two years. (I usually install and check for virus' twice a month).

Hehe, nice one Pete - just be sure to change the air filters regularly and make sure you check your clean suit for holes (virus protection is a two way thing!)
Yep, always the same at the start of a new relationship - cleanliness and safety. Oh you should see my laptop now! I think that 2 and a half years is too long... she just sits there covered in filth. She never closes her lid and lies there shamelessly with her battery port open for all to see.
Meh, I think over time we've just lost respect for each other...
Don't let it get this way Pete.

Global, things don't always have to go so bad.
If you ever see your misses starting to wilt, just go and buy her a new brain, or clean out some of her memory (I use a spoon and some metho for that). Perhaps the problem is that with old age, the vision starts to degrade... thats easily fixable too. A nifty trick I learnt, if she starts to burn your groin/lap region, debowel her and pack in some fans and some coolant fluid in there. Fix her right up.
Hope things get better between you, and Pete, stay on top of things.

Good advice guys, thanks!
I have noticed that every time I try to get inside the box, my hands are too big. I have to work with just a finger or two.
