Is it possible that some of you make a tut on morphing in AE..
I know there's a plug in but I can't just og and buy for one project.. and I guess it ain't nothing that can't be made using native tools..
I saw some tuts on creative Cow but it's too silly (something about a sheep)
I mean something real lke that video from Michael Jackson or so..
people morphing into peole..
I tried it on my own using masks and opacity but it's not so good..
I seem to be missing something in the process..
anyone up to task? -

i agree, morphing yourself into a sheep isn't very exciting, but it will show you how to use the tool.
the reshape tool has some drawbacks, however. You cannont make "control splines". That won't make sense to you until you've done a few morphs and start realizing the amount of control you need for a super high quality morph. But, for the most part, Reshape gets the job done fine.
twixtor is another one, sorta the standard tool right now for this type of effect.
I don't like twixtor at all. I used it many, many, many times on movies, and more often than not it makes more cleanup work than you can imagine. It does work, but I hate it.
Elastic Reality, which is LONG discontinued, is by far and away the best morphing/warping tool out there. It's awesome. -
Artflame Noir 172 posts17 May 2007so basically other than digging elastic somewhere, I'm left with either buying a plugin that hell to work with or just keep trying on my own..
