Hi everyone,
I'm curious about set pieces-- for example, in the new fantastic 4 trailer, there's a shot of a river with a big hole in it... or let's say you just wanted to create a big crater in the middle of the street. Or a set extension where you start with a real film plate and then add on a 3d set. How would you integrate and blend the cg with the film plate? lighting, texturing, etc.
There has been discussion about props and character integration, but I haven't seen about this subject.
