Blade 26 posts05 May 2006Ive just been using Premier ive put all my video and audio files in but when it comes to exporting the video is saved but theres no sound to go with it...does anyone know anything that could help me out plz? -
05 May 2006I don't have premiere here, but when you export, you have to chose "project" instead of "video". "video" will just save the video without sound.

05 May 2006or "export to movie" or something like that, if i remember correctly. then you pick all the options - sound, no sound, compression, etc...

Blade 26 posts05 May 2006I got it working, but it stutters and no matter which codec i put it on it dosent make any differance...

05 May 2006are you making a demo reel? maybe if you're using a bunch of different source footage... like, different frame rates, that kind of thing. if you simply bring in 24 fps footage and then just rerender it as 30, its gonna look wierd. check the sequence's frames per second.
other than that, not too sure. maybe post a video of it? then we could see whats wrong. -

Thats a little section from the first part...as you can see its pretty stuttery / jumpy and if you saw from my FMP post in the 3d Animation section...it dosent suppose to be like that (link http://media.putfile.com/Start-Text) -
05 May 2006to me, that looks like it's maybe a pulldown or interlacing issue. maybe you accidentally rendered out the moving text with pulldown or interlacing, and then are accidentally adding it again when you render out of premiere?
if you go through the frames 1 at a time, slowly, does it not move every 2 or 3 frames?
you might want to keep all pulldown or interlacing turned off unless you are outputing to something that requires it, and then only put it on that particular render.
if that's even what the problem is. if it's not that,

1) Exporting a 30fps sequence at 24fps, or
2) Exporting a 24fps sequence at 30fps -

the only thing that strikes me as odd about your compression settings is that your pixel aspect ratio is set to PAL, but the frame rate is set to 30. it should work fine, but, PAL is typically 25. but, again, this shouldn't really affect anything. pixel aspect ratio shouldn't affect the frame rate no matter what it is. so i'm sure it's not relevant.
i'm lost. i would expect it to work fine.
check to be 100% sure all your imported footage is 30fps. other than that, i'm out of ideas. -

Blade 26 posts06 May 2006Its ok guys, got it sorted, i messed about with the compression settings ( alot ) im not sure what i did tbh but ive saved it to a preset so it can use it again and again

06 May 2006Compression would be my guess.
Try not to compress your output from premiere as a start, see what is best from what you have made, (w/out any compression first). How good is the work that you saved from max? Premiere compression can really mess with your work.
I had this same problem.
