My boss allowed me to show this as long as i don't say what its for and as long as i don't give the name of the project.
but anyway, this is the first character, the modelling is almost finished, i am now working on the textures and materials. there will be a second one of these dudes and an animation should come up soon.
so, that's what i am working on at the moment... if you have any crits to improve it, or if there is things you don't like, let me know because this is the reason why i am posting this here

As a 3d Crit: Scarf looks a bit puddy like, but the fur is really good, i can almost feel it. The neck smoothing looks a bit pinchy too.
As a viewer: I'd honk him!

he said i should leave it for the moments and start the setup of the character... i am still gonna redoo most of the materials after its done...

Rig and custom atributes finished... one more to go and i'll anime, so one more week befor the first animation.

here goes the other character with his walkcycle. i'll redoo the arm movements so that he looks even more depressed.

Hey way cool.
a couple of things I might change, would be to have the arm movements more rotational to emphasise the energy required to jump. And also, have the eyes move a bit so they dont look solidly attached to the head thing, have them go up and down secondary style. Thats what i might have done, but it would be hard for him to focus

basicaly he is like all depressed and sleepy all the time and doesn't care about anything, right now i am making the arms touching the floor just like if he was dragging them... i that anim, i have been told that there was too much energy in his arm movement anyway. i will try to do somthing about the eye, but then again, when you are lazy, peaple tend to not look at anything in particular.
what do you think of the lighting? because this is a 3 point lighting setup and i'll make a tut to show how to make somthing similar (and bit more advanced too)
