02 Jan 2007Inventive title I know, but since Im just doing this for the sake of learning how to do it, I see no need to get all artsy and emotional about it

The premise is a robot jumps on him, all over (almost sexually) and finally he gets a hold of it, slams it to the ground and boots it off screen.
It was very difficult, because fighting off something that isn't really there is tough to act out, so i had to guide him alot, we spend 17minutes of footage to get this 11 seconds shot
Nothing really to show yet, Gunna start modelling the robot bugger tomorrow. -

The base rush is pretty cool, can't wait to see the robot....although, yours neighbors surely think you're epileptic now

One thing about the base footage, it seems to me that he isnt looking at whatever it is that will be jumping him.. little bit of AE would fix that right up -

22 Jan 2007Hey guys, i modelled it and just finished rigging it.. I know its really basic, but i'm not much of a modeller so I just did this.. Anywho, this was my first rig in like, a freakin year

22 Jan 2007haha no worries Cam, i'm looking forward to seeing how this pans out as well, I usually quit on myself mid-project many times.. but this one I'm going to try to get all the way through. Heres a walk that I spent about 1 minute on, just to see how he might walk, probably won't use it though.
