I had some free time at school, so I decided to animate...

So far I've worked on this about 2.5 hours.

That's pretty good for only 2.5 hours! One thing I notice is the little pause before he jumps is a bit too long.
Also some things I noticed only when I scrubbed through it were his left hand at the beginning few frames doesn't move at all, and his foot also seems frozen for the few frames it touches the hurdle.
Good job! I know whenever I had free time at school I usually slept in the lounge!

There was a lounge? I thought 227 was the lounge.

well, there is a lounge.... how anyone could sleep (or do any work down there) with all the noisy ass people watching bad anime and playing fighting games is still one of lifes big questions.
Onto the animation
It is purdy good for only putting in only two and a half hours What clay mentioned about the arm frozen, the frozen foot on the hurdle i noticed too. but also I think if there was a little more height on the run. there is only one frame or so each cycle where he is off the ground. it seems almost like a very heavy robotic lumber towards the hurdle (unless thats what you are going for)
The feet also have a little bit of a pop when they come off the ground. but beyond that its lookin good for the ammount of time put in. I like the tumble at the end.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll get workin on the suggestions.
As for the lounge, I'm sure when you guys were still around, it was that old lounge with the couches that porbably contained diseases. Now it's all modern with new couches and pretty nifty tables (not too bad when you're in thier by yourself or with civil people!), however the anime cult still lingers....but they actually banned the T.V. because of all the crapped that was played.

Yeah, when I was there there were two couches. One directly in front of the tv, and one off to the side. I always tried to use the one on the side because all the anime junkies used the one directly in front of the tv, so i figured the side one would be slightly less diseased.
Either that or I just picked a quiet spot in the halls somewhere and took a nap on the floor.

ah, they took the TV out? Montel and I put in a great deal of effort to steal that from a 4th floor classroom, take it down the elevator and get it in the lounge...
oh well, not my problem
