Well I thought it might be fun to do a little mini-project this weekend, since all other projects I'm currently working on are long-term wips and I need to put something on my website
So I'm doing a short little commercial with this mouse and this mousetrap. Made the models and junk this evening, hopefully do the animation tommorow and have it done Sunday. We'll see!
Here's the setting....I threw the mouse rig in there but he's obviously not posed.
Rendered with Mental Ray (giving it a shot), no GI (4 lights)

05 May 2007that looks cool, try adding a little texturing maybe on the mouse or fur maybe...
anyhow this looks cool
remember to add, "no animals where armed while making this video"
i supose the grain will gone on the final render...

don't know how much time and effort you plan on putting into this but it would be really cool to see a making of / tutorial covering this one.
im always amazed and what you can do when it comes to rendering. unfortunately something they don't teach us much at my school.
anyway just an idea.... keep up the good work as always!

09 May 2007Got a chance last night to block in all of the animation and start polishing as well. Probably about 30% done all of the animation at this point so that's a major "yay". Not sure how far I'll get the rest of this week though since I got a new assignment from work.
My goal is to get it done on the weekend though! -

10 May 2007I can feel the plight of the cheese. It's desperation is crowding the scene. I think that the cheese is the star, and not the mouse. After all, the mouse is after the cheese, right?
