Claymation 600 posts15 Jun 2007Hey Joe, looks pretty good so far. Isn't Maya great!
I think when he pulls back for the first punch, his whole body could anticipate a bit more, especially his head. I haven't watched any boxing references so I guess I wouldn't know for sure, just going on my initial reaction. I think he punches a bit too fast as well.
And then keep the body moving after he kicks as well, and don't forget about the face! (I know, not done yet
) -

21 Jun 2007on a side note does anyone know where i could get a Frame counter that i could put in with these motion test? I know it would help a lot with crits and help me as well.

Found that with a quick search on http://www.highend3d.com
There are also ones you can use in After Effects but I prefer to have them there in Maya myself. I haven't tried that script because AM provides us with one, but I'm sure there are plenty of others if that one doesn't work for you. -
