Hey all, these are a few pictures from our new movie "Marked" This is the only graphic scene in the film, so we did it first to get it out of our system.
It's basically a corn syrup mix for the blood, good viscosity and has good color, even after drying. The 'guts' are made from simply taking paper towel and dipping it in the blood and ripping a bit.
I'm the Main Character, Camera man (for this scene and others I'm not in), Visual Effects, Editing, and props manager!

Hehe so I assume that fellow had his arm chopped off?
Looks nice! The blood might be a liiiiiittle too pink in my opinion, but it's very minor and you could fix it in post.
You gonna post the film up here when it's done?

probably pink cause of flash, the films gunna be much different and probably darker. Uhmm, this was our first scene and the script isn't even 100% complete yet, but we hope to have filming done by the end of summer due to school starting again.
