Hey guys I've been gone for a bit... but Im back.. anyway
im working on the bumpers for my schools annual art festival called ARTimation. I am mainly in charge of the 3D section.
its the eight show so they when with an 8ball theme (i would have done magic 8ball but oh well) so im doing a pool table set up with the basic intent to show off 3D elements
let me know what you think so far most images are grainy just to save time.

Hey mate! Wow that latest update looks great! Very tight editing...love the slo mo effect!
The only thing I'd say, is that the first shot....when the camera spins around for the closeup...it's a little too wild....try to keep it focused on the ball as it spins...I think right now it moves the focus point off the ball for a bit.

Wow man, this is awesome! I think you have a great piece going here. I agree with what Tyson said, and also, I think your last two shots should be made into one. If you're going for the slow-mo, bullet time thing, I'm not sure that a cut is going to work. I think that you're setting up an environment, and then going against it kind of. Does that make sense? I think if you were to do a camera push into the next shot, ala' bullet time, even if it's kind of a smash zoom, you'd have better continuity. Other than that nitpicky comment, I can't wait to see what this looks like all said and done. Keep it up man.

Sweet thanks guys im really glad you like it so far. I Agree with you guys on the first shot it goes past the cue ball way to much.
there is still and intro short to be made or at least more set up because i will be lead in by some ae work from someone else working on the project with me
also after the ball is hit i fell like i need a shot of just the cue ball rolling then the shot of the triangle then the transformation and so on what do you guys think of that.
also i agree with you zach that the last to shot are a bit odd but i really like the (cue ballbot) skidding to the camra to be in the last shot with the 3d ball i think if i hold the balls in slow mo a bit longer and ease them out it will be much better
thanks for the crits guys more updates in a few days!

i like really like the transformations you got going on here!
as far as the shots go, i think this should all be one continuous shot. i think the cutting from the cue ball to the racked balls (insert laugh here) is a little disorienting. instead of cutting just have the cameras movement speed up to get to the next view. just my two cents
i also think it would be cool to rotate the camera into position for the last view. so when the pool balls explode into the air the camera rotates with a bullet time effect into position and the 3 ball falls perfectly into position. more two cents.

hey man i like it. one small thing i noticed right away and im not sure if you fixed it yet but if you watch the 3 and 7 ball they switch spots from the cut shots to when the cue ball hits the rack.

first thanks for the plug!
second i have a bit of an update to show closer what the final pool balls will look like with reflections and stuff. I have noticed its hard to read the "animation" under the 3d and 2d but ill have to bend it to the ball so it wont create that shadow.
