Hey mate,
It's a nice test
The animation is a little stiff in some places though...watch your moving holds! At the end when the ball lands on his foot his hands freeze in mid-air...if you polish stuff like that up I think it'll look very nice

that 2nd animation is excellent! i love the key poses you have there, all of them are very strong!
looking at it closer, it looks lik his back leg starts to come up a bit early when he goes to jump in the beginning.

That second one is rad man nice work. I have a couple of small crits.
I think the overall timing is fantastic, it feels very natural.
The poses are nice but I think they can be pushed a lot more. There are a couple poses that with a miniscule tweak here and there you could have a cleaner line, better silhouette, etc. His pose in mid air that you have the screenshot of there has some major twinning and even without it looks pretty unnatural. It wouldn't be hard at all to make that pose more dynamic and interesting.
Besides that it's awesome, great weight on the landing. The take off could probably be better as far as the external force on the jump and the way his feet move, but the timing masks it well.

i think he should hold a little longer at the top of his arc. also, his legs seem to be moving really fast and could most likely benefit from some kind of motion blur.

Seems to me like you have far too much Y movement in his hips during the run cycle. His head is bobbing waaay too much. In this type of action, the purpose of the run is to build up speed and momentum. When doing so you try to limit the "up and down" motion and focus yourself on leaning forward and into your target. In your case, just lower the amount of up and down on his run and it will improve the beginning a ton.
The vault itself is pretty sweet, you might try what Ride suggested and exaggerate the ease at the top of the arc when he is over the bar.
