A friend of mine was to develop a fictive newspaper as a university assignment, and asked me if I could help her set up their media campaign. Not that I have much (read: any) experience with that, but I just can't say no to a pretty girl. The paper is called "The Rock" and for the media campaign we decided to work around the theme of Rock - scissor - paper. Besides the TV ad, I created two posters, a mock up paper-frontpage and contributed to the overall mediaplan.
The stills are from the TV ad, showing the scissor threatening the paper in an ally, and the rock heroically coming to the rescue. It's all mightily amateurish, but then again, so am I.
Almost everything was created during two crunch sessions tuesday and wednesday night. (the deadline was thursday). The original plan included actually animating it, but there wasn't time for that. I might still do that. That's why I put it here in the factory.
Anyway, she did her presentation thursday and the professor was wholly excited, so she got a good grade. This was sort of my first "contract work", for my services I will receive an applepie
