no texture work yet though

but that is just to see it a bit shaded -
07 Mar 2008is there any reflection on it? maybe you could throw a hdr image in the environment? just for a test i mean.

08 Mar 2008the dirty texture really works on this thing, i like it mucho. a note for the hdri, if you drag the texture node from the environment window into the material editor you can set the mapping to spherical instead of screen so its wraps around the entire scene.

08 Mar 2008the only thing that looks weird to me is the stragith shininess of the barrel material. looks like there should be some specular differences thrown in there maybe, or some bump possibly.

11 Mar 2008so i think now its final i tried to bump the reflection and dirt it a bit up and changed the lens material.

mahmoudnahmad 1,159 posts11 Mar 20089.999999999/10 one thing i cant seem to get of my mind, get a video cam take, rent a truck, get ur friends, 2 people holding barrels into the truck, there is an incline that helps them put them into the back, they move away to get coffee
the 3d barrel rolls down (not transformed yet) keeps rolling falls of truck enjoys a road rolling experience with cars beeping then suddenly a car hits it just slightly
THE BOT GETS ANGRY AND SHO SHO SHO SHU SHU SHEEHTH (transformation sound from transformers) and stars running that rounding gun and boom boom boom i can see it in my head
DROLLING excited idea getting goose Bumps, i am willing to help you achieve it ^_^ will take time to perfect i think 
SELF CHALLENGE YOUR SELF WITH THE ABOVE ^^.
maybe get hit by you carrying a gon (english way of saying gun) bullet holes
Ahhhhh got to stop

its strange because when im adding texture (or bump) the invisible parts gets visible because its a square plane with alpha channel texure on it. :S
somebodys got a plan about this? -
