Some textures are not final (the wall for example and i have still to model stuff (like the window
)
Its rendered with Final render took about 2 min to render which is pretty cool imo i had a chance to try vray (a friend of mine uses it and is totaly a fanboy)
very very smooth and good results but awful long rendertimes maybe its his settings dunno im a totally uber noob with vray :S
but with fr even with very high settings its about the quarter rendertime than in vray with normal settings (ok it looks better but quality/speed isnt that high)

07 May 2008do you work in the dark? if you do, it's the worse thing ever! work with lights on... and in case your image gets too bright, you could rearrenge that in premiere or whatever program you'll be using to composit it... but all compositers here will tell you that they hate black because they have no control over it in compositing... Listen to yoda, and avoid the dark side!
so imo it's way too dark overall,
dark ambiance does not mean black and hard to see in it... it could be blue or purple for example... check ratatouille out for night and dark shots... you'll see how they make it look darker by using oposit colors between bright and dark areas (check a color wheel for that)
i changed your pic quickly and here is an example of how bright it could be, although it still looks like a night shot... and it could be even brighter than this...
it's also hard to crit if we don't know what is going on in there...

youre totally right i work in the dark :S
and my instructor said the same thing what you just said
make it brighter or it will look very very dark on the projection so you cant see a thing.
so im gonna brighten it up in total. and there are some lights to add that will lighten the scene up a bit more.

the wall texture was a test texture actually its a very low resolution and the wall isnt mapped correctly :S
what should i work with? the cloth the material or the cloth itselfe?

if you mean the cloth form itselfe its max cloth modifier. -
07 May 2008if it's projected on screen, make it 2 times brighter than you thought it should have been... i have the same roblem on my india WIP...

mahmoudnahmad 1,159 posts07 May 2008actually both the cloth on the bed seem too thin for a cover, or maybe its just me.
i suggest add a shell modifier to the cloth and check some random values should give the cloth some volume. -
03 Jun 2008ok new update this time a 38 sec render with no sound and some serious errors like texture dissapearing light problems.
i did some color correction but its not final i have changed the 3. and 4. shot adjusted the animations (are in the render queue right now) ill be probably not able to change much from the feedback you give but i want to hear it anyway so i can be prepared ad the jury at it
