19 Jun 2008Please have a look at this rendering and give me some feedback. Please excuse the hands and legs. The Uvs arent finished on them. I am having a horrible time with hair so if anybody knows any good tutorials on that stuff please let me know. Also, I seem to be having trouble figuring out where postings go on this website...I only saw one section for 3d studio max and Im hoping this is the right forum. This image is done with 3d studio using mental ray render. I have the standard 3 light setup...I could use some help with lighting too. I have read about lights giving off a certain ambient color around the rim of an object to make the fall off of the skin look red or orange but I cant seem to find any controls in the spotlight parameters to add color other than the main color if that makes sense. Ok enough typing please tell me what you think.

something is weird about her and i think its the depth of the chest and breasts its too much (or its looks like this from this view)
Hair is hard to make good imo so i think you should do it at last with your finalised model.
the belly looks a bit blocky too it should more round.(the side and the front of her has a too distinctive cut) -
22 Jun 2008looks cool dude...did you model everything?.if so better then me..
I like the body. not perfect. no one is. I find a body thats a bit tweeked makes for good animating.
