I thought I was having an attack of Deja Vu just then... what's with the new thread? Anyhoo - the start of the anim doesn't seen to have changed much, the camera whizzes around less and looks better, but you have moved on to another motion without really tackling the problems with the first.
As for keys and keying etc, when you are done you may well have hundreds or even thousands of keyframes to get where you want to go - but if you approach the animation in logical steps and stages you should have a good idea of what keyframe is doing what, where, and when... (the actual approach is different depending on the way you work and maybe the anim you are working on)
Animation is a very wide ranging subject and can't be learned through tutorials, but there are certainly a lot of learning aids out there and good reading material. I'd first check out some of the basic principles of anim (google 'principles of animation') and then check out some tips / 'tuts' by people like Keith Lango) And then just keep practicing!
