21 May 2006if you were to improve upon this image, what would you do?
keep in mind i've added stepping stones leading away from the house and the tree will have texture to it already.

21 May 2006Hmm, I guess this is all very personal but I would change the material of the house to something more cartoony to fit the rest of the scene. I'd also change the lighting to something more happy. And I'd do just a skyblue background.

22 May 2006i agree with changing the texture on the house, but only to something very slightly more cartoony. the grass doesn't seem 100% cartoony, but fits the scene well. something not 100% cartoony but not 100% real on the house would be cool.
but i like the gradient background.
perhaps i'm alone on that!
there better be some really funky caharcters that comes outta that house!

22 May 2006here's an update, the grass from the first image got lost in a corrupted save so i'm still midway throug the process of remaking it. ignore the tree, still veryt much a WIP.
mainly what do you think of the stones and the new slightly more cartoony version of the house texture?

22 May 2006The house is already too drak in the image, iand i prefer the tree in green as in the previous version...
The overall style is really cool anyway

26 May 2006for anyone wondering, i'm still working on this. i'm expanding it in a sense. i got rid of the steps and added a pond in the middle. also its zoomed out and will be part of a larger scene
