And your a vampire Richard. just because vampires say everything like that. Also they are crazy too and your getting crazy good at 3d animation and modelling. I believe I have said this before, but you are definately the new teen wonder 3d animator. Or in other words the new Tyson Ibele.

I dont wanna be Tyson, thanks for the nice words, but I want to be Richard Adenot, Tyson has his style, he is good with what he is doing... everybody is good with what they like to do, they eventualy get amazing at it if they spend time on it and practise. i don't know what i am trying to say here, its just that i want to be myself, and be recognised as myself, not as someone else... other peaple told me i was gonna be the next tyson, which i appreciate, it cheers me up, but then again, i wanna be me.
and look at that kids, we fluded tyson's thread, poor him... sry dude
edit: and by saying i will be the new tyson, it means that tyson is old, which really isn't the case tyson is yung and full of energy... tyson, do you get my point of view? what have you got to say to that?
edit2: maria stated "as far as the whole tyson-will-win deal goes... I don't know, I think if he's so good that he'll win, then he deserves that right" i totaly agree, rock on Tyson, kick ass and blow the others away
edit3: and theses challenges are supposed to be a learning prosess and a fun thing, the winning bit is just like a bonus (thats just how i see it anyways)

No worries Richard it's a very wise thing that you've decided.
It's good that you're feeling out your own style...don't ever think you have to copy someone else!

I wan't to add one last thing.
Do like I do use T, use him as much as you can he's the best critic you can get out there, he straight to the point, it's never in a mean way. So I say use T.
Since the first time I ever chatted with him I told him he was a natural at animation, so now when I need advice I go to him it helps me give a better product to the client, the only times I don't use his advice is when the client is to cheap to pay good money.
But I'd really like to see some work of yours done with your feet

The still looks awesome, and the lighter looks 99% real!!
Only thing off on the lighter I can see is the width of the sparker wheel thingie.
and them is some sexy old school teacher glasses. Science teacher glasses, is he gonna make a big bang?

Very well done, the flame length doesnt seem to animate realisticly but it is still very cool, the shader on it is great.

Like always animation is awesome, but this was about fire and I'm disapointed T, no purlpulish blue you nornaly get in a lighter flame(I light enough cigs to know) I think you should of worked more on the flame part.
But T your lipsink and character animation is really amazing like always, gonna hire you when I'm rich.

Hehe...well my lighter refs were very limited since I don't have one
....the only good pics I could find didn't have any of the blue flame on the bottom so I wasn't sure if that was necessary. I'll keep that in mind for next time though

Heh! 2 birds with one stone... nice one bud. Looks great, I can see the guys accent in the lipsync! Amazing! Though I would say that the anim seems a touch floaty in some places - the transition from one movement into another just rolls a little. Hard to put my finger on exactly where (which is not useful to you in your 'quest for betterment'!
) But I think you know what I mean since we kinda talked about it before - it's almost like the ease in and out is uniform for all motions (ie, the spacing of evey move).
But anyhoo... good luck over at the 10second club - you'll get my vote!
