that was my first thought too - WHAT - No EXPLOSION!!??
looked cool though,Ar! liked the shattering of the pot. at times the dirt feels more like pebbles or marbles (or Cocoa Puffs) than dirt, but it didn't ruin it for me. mostly at the end when the straglers are still rolling around.
oh - and whats up with the flower? he looks like he's getting ready to do something when the shot ends. -

23 Sep 2006i'm working on a shot here at work of a T-rex standing in snow and turning around and leaving the frame. he scratches up a bunch of snow and dirt. they did a bunch of particle interactions for the snow and dirt in Houdini. It looks just like your dirt that comes out of the pot, ar Lutik, only a different color.
it just made me think of your shot, thats all. i mentioned that the way your dirt moved made it look like cocoa pebbles. theirs does here, too.
