01 Oct 2005Here we go.
I have a character done. Not sure if he's finished or what... I have 2 days to decide whether to add more.
Brief: This dude is the Fruitkeeper. He is about 30 cm tall. If you're a fruit... then you already know who he is. -

I don't really like his fork though, I think it should be more ... organic or so. Currently it looks like he nabbed a fork from a devil and uses that

Troubs... no not really. I'm guessing he's gonna be stabbing something though
Jake... I understand. With the texturing, everything will become more organic. So from there, it should seem a bit more natural and fitting to the fruity theme. -

02 Oct 2005Hahahahaha...this is the funniest model I've seen in a while.
At first I was like "yea that's pretty funny"...but seeing the shortened leg put it over the top
My only suggestion is that you take away the pitchfork (unless you're going to make it in the style of a traditional farming pitchfork)....otherwise having a devil-like pitchfork doesn't really match the character (cause he's happy not evil). -

I did have an idea of him battling a tomato... not sure how I will go with that.
For those of you who wanted a more organic looking fork, here you go: -

The stem is wrong... it needs to be the leftovers of where he was picked, not something growing out of his head. will see what I can do. -

I like it alot! The nasty little things he could do with that pitchfork... ohhhhhh the possibilities!
If I can give you one suggestion... It's funny to have the one arm gimpy... but I would make it more distinguishable from the other. At first I tought something was odd about him, and I didn't know what until I read what you posted. This is just my opinion on it though. I still think he's hillarious! -
02 Oct 2005yeah a stub would better suit the design and possibly a vine on the trident.
oh and btw one side of a lemon is always more rounded out so if u made that ear a bit stubby and rounded the edges more it would convey the lemon idea bit better i didnt get it at first .
