By the way.....if anyone has any recommendations for stuff like that (ie....mentioning things you'd like to see done to this guy when it comes to textures)....speak now or forever hold your peace! I'm definitely open to suggestions -

i would say that the fingers look very squarish, maybe they are not finished yet.

I've decided that he's an orphan...hence the dirty clothes
Still have to add hair and a couple of other things....other than that though, he's done.

18 Oct 2005tahts aexactly tyhe kind of thing i was envisioning except for it was blue nstead of the redish thing. nice work ...just one thing ...theres an extremely dramatic contrast between the clothes and the skin a person with clothes that dirty should have dirty skin aswell. i know ur trying to maintain that cartoony look but dont hesitate with adding some details to the skin to bring it out more.

18 Oct 2005<3 T he doesnt look enough like an orphan though, i was especting dirty pajamas from the butt-flap, but now it just looks like some kind of weird dirty cloth.

19 Oct 2005Little more work....I think I'm going to call him done at this point.....unless there's anything major any of your would like to see done to him.....
I'm not going to add any dirt to his face or anything...since I think dirt on his face would require a "story" for him. Dirty pj's is like "oh...he's poor"....but dirt on his face is more like "is he a slave? does he have parents? did someone attack him?" etc etc. I want to use him for generic animation exercizes....so I want to keep him as unattached to his "background" as possible.
Anywho....
