Also, I just want to thank everyone for the last challenge. I had a lot of fun doing it and watching everyone else's. I just hope I can start on this challenge a little sooner and spend some more time on it!

Allright, I've thought about this one for about 2 minutes now that i've had my morning coffee, and I think I'm gonna do a mix of mind reading and fire manipulation. All 3d for me I think, no live action.

I finally got some time to start animating today. This is about 2 hours worth, it's only the first half of the clip. It's still pretty rough, and I haven't touched Mcmahon except for his lips (Yowzers!). I haven't done any facial stuff on Carnac other than lips and eyelids, again both very rough passes.

I swear to god I don't think I'm meant to post this update. I've been trying to post it for the past two days but i've had so many computer and software problems, I'm about to shoot a kitten.

I think i'm about 95% done with the animating. Just a few more tweaks and details here and there to do.
I'm not sure if I want to add an explosion, or just smoke and maybe a flash of light where it hits him. The beam and the orbs on his hands will be bright and glowing. It'll probably come down to how much time I have.

Also, here's a final render of what the energy beam looks like. Since I'm getting this done a little early, I MIGHT go back and rework this a little. Maybe add some swirling elements or something to it, I dunno. We'll see.

I think this is my final entry. If i get really ambitious I might add some effects or something, but don't count on it

All in all I think I spent maybe 8 hours on the animation. Another 3 or 4 for lighting and texturing and set up and whatnot.
