Claymation 600 posts02 Mar 2007That's a sweet Idea Goul, I can't wait! I think that it might not be so bad if your camera isn't top notch. Your water won't have to look top notch and perfect that way! -
02 Mar 2007Yep but i have try yesterday to make the shots...auw, it's worse than i was expecting :/
I think i will first try to make a static shot, or only do the hand transformation, then try to make the whole scene :d -
03 Mar 2007i made a version of myself once that was all water, and then it fell apart leaving a puddle on the floor. well, it kinda ended up looking like a clear gel puddle, but it worked pretty well. I had a rigged body with some motion capture data on it, made the body the emitter, had particle cover it, and at a certain point drop down onto the ground where they stuck. I wrapped the particles with the PWrapper from Glu3d. it worked out really good!

03 Mar 2007and what's wrong with your camera, goul? does it only shoot a certain frame rate or low res or something?

03 Mar 2007I will try to ask to a friend toshare me a camera to makes the shots..
Btw, nice explanation hype, that's in the big lines what i've planned to do, exept maybe for the motion capture...will make the animation manually and ask the actor to not move too much ^^
If i can't find a camera i will use my robot and go full 3d .. should looks like a mix between robots, xmen and terminator yay
