Ahhhh. now I can see it
good idea! A few things that stand out to me are:
-you're loosing volume when he squishes down... maybe try to scale him outwards?
-In 2d animation, stretches like you have should be felt rather than seen... try having a stretch for fewer frames, even 1 or 2 frames.. that might do the trick

a smear should be a drawing between 2 poses that are far appart
-His landing looks a little floaty... try increasing the distance between each drawing to make it faster on the come down
