15 Oct 2006I've got MAX 8, but scripts like this should work from 5 until 8 (or even 9?), right?
Tried it with no modifiers on it, with an edit mesh modifier and collapsed to a editable mesh. Still the same errors. -
15 Oct 2006Are you running it by going to the maxscript menu up top, new script, copy + paste in there and hit evaluate (when object is selected + is editable) ??
Works fine here on a different pc even. -
15 Oct 2006Hmm no, I was running it directly out of the listener, didn't make a news script.
Good chances are that will fix the problem. I'll give it a try in a sec!
Man, I feel like such a fool right now. It works like a charm Cameron! Sorry for making you go the extra mile and test it on diff. machines

16 Oct 2006if you want to evaluate something in the listener you have to evaluate the code line by line . so you hit enter after each line.
