11 Jul 2006A short spec ad we completed here at work for Converse shoes.
Shoe and Environment modelling was done by Zach Mandt (zachm on the forums here), and compositing help was recieved from Danny Robashkin.
Everything else was completed by myself.

To me it doesn't make the product appealing. By the size of the baits and lures the fisher-man/womaniser is after something bigger. Bugs the crap out of me when I go fishing and all that wants to attack my bait is the little fish. Maybe all that you can catch with the shoes is ze little fish. -

18 Jul 2006very cool T, and one week is never enough they always forget we need to sleep and maybe have a life.
I really like the one that almost hug it.
the only critic, is a more realistic finish on the fish would of been awesome, like scales or light reflecting in them. -

21 Jul 2006The animation is quite fascinating and 3D-wise everything looks top notch to me, but I'm not sure if there's a straight connection between fish and Converse shoes. Either the shoe is more attractive than bait, or it is edible.
