05 Sep 2005Heres some of my recent work guys.
A small render i did in 3dsmax, then edited in photoshop (added 2d vectors and changed a little colours), about 2 hours work on and off. Wasnt a good day.
This i did today about 2 mins ago, its a render i threw up in max with a few tweaks in photoshop.
The next two are render tests for my render presets in vray,
*note : the hdri maps dont match the environment i just slung em on to test.
Seeing as though there isnt a photography section ill add my photography here too
This last image is 2mb in size, due to the length of it, its a 360 view of my garden in total 10 images joined in photoshop (alot of contrast tweaking and heal brushing)

05 Sep 2005hey ..very nie work i like the first 2 renders youve made them look like poster adverts. nice work only one thing tho ..sutle is spelt subtle

05 Sep 2005Oops sorry, Im rubbish a spelling.
The second one, i drew loads of random splines, then applyed Lathe with made it go round , but i wanted a core to it so i made it 50% lathe, then i just applyied some random settings in noise modifier till i was happy.
Then i just rendered using Vray, no special maps just a plain grey one, with a plain grey backdrop to add a softer touch. Next i just played about with colours in photoshop. Added border and text, theres final result -

05 Sep 2005Definately some interesting work you got ther aden.
The photos are great, although a little grainy and those vray renders are top notch. Would love to see what you can do with more complex objects
The abstracts are good too, the best thing about the first, is that its hard to tell which is 3d and which is 2d.. so good work there.
btw what happened to those clouds in the bigges of all pics? its like tiling problems, yes? -

06 Sep 2005Thanks cammy, i jooined 3 photos for that and some clouds i had to brush in, notice some buildings are tiny offset hehe, but when printed its not noticable. But i should fizthe clouds i always miss one dammmit.
Thanks Ivan, i been interested in alot of abstract recently, this is the only one thats half decent pulled off in 3dsmax.
Franklyn, i used a Nikon f75, settings for shot like aperaturw, shutter were a bit rushed when setting it up. Ive just ordered my new camera Nikon D70 eith two new lens -
06 Sep 2005Sorry about all the errors, i typed that with alot of glare on the screen and its hard to see what your writing with a dark blue background and black text.
