09 Sep 2005Hey man...Looking cool! Kinda like Spyro's little cousin or something.
Here are some pointers as you continue to work on it
-If you're going to animate him (with facial expressions etc), you'll want to give him more defined eyelids and eyebrows...most facial expressions are defined by those 2 features, and right now his seem pretty limited
-Maybe give him ears more like a mouse or something (pointed, pointing either forward or backward)....right now they're just kind of pointing out like little trumpets
-So he doesn't look like a little demon/devil....I'd suggest maybe adding a row of horns that extends down his back

ivanisavich, I added more eyelid and eyebrow definition, altough not too much on the brow as it makes him look older..thanks for that...i never thought of it.
I fixed his ears..to something better than trumpets...
His horns yeah they make him look like a devil hopefully the spikes down his back will change that feel otherwise ill have to do something about them...
added legs, that crocodile bit that goes on his stomach(ta cam)

10 Sep 2005Looks really good one think that i dont like tho is the stomach, it looks like its detached, and on a different illiteration to the body.

Tis a great model indeed!
The thing on the stomach, looks great when well executed.
At the moment, it is a bit uneven around the edges, and needs the segmenting. Also, needs a kind of bevelled edge on both sides.
Also, the anatomy of the model doesn't look as it should. The muscles in the legs and arms dont look like they can support running, swinging, jumping e.t.c
This default position makes it look a tad out of the ordinary, but once he's skinned and boned and posed, it should look a heap more natural.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes, keep us updated mate! -
