here are some of my issues...
the target of the camera is very obviously linked to the spaceships in some of the shots, and i'm not a big fan of that look.
even with the target linked, there's still a few weird background jumps that are camera-based.
the robot guy driving the main ship looks too stiff.
sometimes it looks like the 3 ships trailing him are all linked together, moving together. looks odd.
the depth of field looks a little 2d
some thing in it look like step-frames, meaning stuttery, like some of the explosions.
the shots of the ships flying close to the water with that planet real big in the background seem off somehow, like the "layers" aren't moving how they're supposed to (the planet, the clouds, the foreground, the horizon line)
some of the ship's moves felt a bit "empire strikes back"-ish.
but i hate for this to be all negative. the sheer amount of shots you did for this is certainly to be commended! you've been posting alot of stuff for this short. when will it be done?
please keep up the good work and definitely keep posting!

Anyway i'm agree with hype about camera works...
The other problem is the ships animations, seems that they haven't any wheight , and there is no air resistance, turbulences (speed is continuous and linear => unnatural) and way too fast in some of shots to be belivable.
I think the problem cames from your use of path to make the animation.. Not a good idea to me, you should animate them by hand and try to have nice and sweet animation curves, with accelerations... It will be longer but far better
Same for camera work...
Anyway, congratulation to have complete these, some nice modeling and texturing work -
