I just joined the boards recently so first off it's nice to meet everyone, there's some really nice work here!
This is my 10 second animation I had to do for class and I am looking for some crit on it. The point of the project was to take basic shapes and animate them with a story. It couldn't be any more or less then 10 seconds, but now that the project is over I can add to it.
I was wondering what you thought of it, what works, what doesn't, or any suggestions in general.

Wonder why no one's responded yet....
Anywho.....I think the animation is quite nice! Your secondary motion looks very nice, and the character have a very fun, yet simple design.
The only thing that really bugs me about this is the sound. The audio levels are too high overall, and the peaks are too far apart, which creates an overall poppy/ear-piecing effect in the piece which makes it hard to watch without the speakers turned way down.
Anywho...keep it up! And don't be frightened by the lack of comments on your first post!

14 Nov 2006Downloaded fine for me... I agree with Hype - it's a cute anim, would lke to see some more, perhaps a 15 second 'story' set in the same world.

I would however appreciate it if you didn't post it on CGtalk etc, I got the webspace and bandwith for free and don't want to set free the wrath of my benefactor for killing his bandwith. -

I was having problems with the security on my account, but it should be fixed now. Thank you, Jake, for posting a link that worked, and don't worry, I won't use it on cgtalk and places.
