I know I posted a turnaround quicktime of this helicopter, but since then I have fixed reflections, materials, lighting (a bit) and added an ambient occlusion pass.
Here is the render.

10 Jan 2007my only crit about the render is that there are clouds being reflected from somewhere, but no clouds in the sky. but DUDE! that copter rocks! great work!!

Iest--> Yeah hopefully I can get around to animating this someday. But man I better own a render farm by then haha (*thinks about stealing the school's computers for a few weeks.*)
Hype--> I know, the cloud thing is something I am still pondering about.. I wish there was a way I could do a like..reflection linking...unless there is an I am missing it. I'll think about the BG texture in the future though!

10 Jan 2007The clouds are probably the reflection of the HDRI you're using (if you're using one). Just bring down the reflection on the frond plane or something?

11 Jan 2007really nice work man, I'd think about fixing up that horizon thing though, the hard line takes away from the overall quality. Do you plan on doing any animations with it?
