Two diferent renders

09 Nov 2009Hi guys. I havent posted anything for a long time. So here it is.
This one i made for a competition on domestic forums. It was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's painting "Bedroom in Arles". I did it in August.
This one i finished in October. They are completely diferent as you can see. This one is much nicer
Since i am out of jobs i might as well practice a little.
Any comments are welcome

11 Nov 2009Really nice work. I think the second one looks great, nice and clean. And the only thing that stands out on the first one is that the meshes seem a little too clean. The texturing is all grungy and nasty and the furniture is 90 degree angles and perfect. Even the picture frames are hung just perfectly, not crooked at all. Maybe warp the chairs and bed frame or take chips out of the wood. The dirt on the ground is a nice touch.

One thing that i forgot to mention is that the model was provided for the competition. But that's no excuse for not damaging the model. Ill keep that in mind next time. Thanks for the tip. I did destroy a little bit here and there but not enough. -
