Huge flying wing

I thought I'd show you some of my latest work. A freind of mine (who is my texture artist on all my live and personal projects) was asked to design a huge flying wing for a photogropher to put into a piece of work, and the guy wanted a heavy steampunk look to it. Anyway, I said I'd do a quick mock up of his design, and we sat their for four hours last night me modelling and him photoshopping and this was the result:
Possibly the best work i've done in such a short time. They photographer may want a better model, so then i'll get the props turning and get some motion blur on the go. But as a quick solution, i'm pleased with it

29 Jan 2007Hey man, welcome to the forums! it looks great so far but I have a couple crits. First off, the clouds shouldn't be so shadowed, If you must have shadows on them, make them closer to the color on the top, and second, your ocean should maybe have some variation in the color, some lighter blues and some sheen from the sun would help to make it look heaps better.

Will J 215 posts29 Jan 2007I agree with that actually. The clouds need to be much higher, and the lighting is messy at best. But for some masochistic reason, we were up until 6am this morning completely re-making it. Its still not finished and I haven't slept, now I'm in uni. Blarg
