Woohoo, my first actually post of some content on here. Hopefully this will be a quick compositing project and will actually go somewhere (school pending) and will help build up a new portfolio since I've now lost most of my old non-work files.
The blue screen footage I borrowed from a tutorial Book/DVD in the library. I know the keying isn't fantastic but I'm still trying to learn all of AE's key/matte tools so hopefully the ghosting will improve or go away.
The modelling and lighting so far have been really quick, I just wanted to focus on scale/layering of the files. Texturing and further lighting will follow once I figure out the keying, if anyone has any tips on that please let me know.

Been very busy with midterms but a slight update. Keep in mind the whole BG is just one frame, all the moving reflections and waves were faked in AE, at least for now. The branches in back are 3d (and actually looked good up close) so they will end up animated. Hopefully some rushes, reeds and lilys will be added to the riverbank in due time to break up that fairly straight edge, same with the house wall.

Hey man...forgot to comment on this earlier...but I DID watch it when you originally posted it....and I think it looks cool! You've got the camera matched properly it seems and the scale is right. I think a nice added touch would be some shadows on the ground of the people as they walk out onto the bridge.
