Got third place at 3dluvr contest, the theme was "Warrior Tools"
This was done with 3dsmax 7 and of course my favorite rendering engine finalRender -

Only crits I have, the twig in the bg is a bit generic in shape, and the texture on the glove is a bit flat, other than that I can definately see how you were awarded 3rd place. Great inspirational idea mate. -

24 Jun 2005Very well deserved. I really like it. A great overall concept and really well presented.
I think that overall the textures (though they are good) could do with a little work (not the colander tho! that's just perfect!) and the grass is perhaps a little too green.
I actually really like the workmans glove, looks nice and old and the texture on the sleeve sells it for me (I had a pair just like it
It does seem slightly blurred though - perhaps its the DOF, but it does seem to float a little in the image)

At first I didn't wan't to do the contest, but I got this idea and I had to do it so I decided to do this as quick as I can. -
